This wine is named after a tigress cub that almost died when she was elbowed out of her mother’s feeding zone by her stronger more dominant brothers. In 2018 this wine was released in place of the usual Reserve Pinot Noir.  Pale garnet with a developing nose of morello cherry, strawberry and a touch of sarsaparilla.  On the palate the wine has an intriguing combination of strawberry, a touch of wintergreen and very firm, fine, mouth coating tannins.  This wine is very structured and would be an excellent match to confit duck leg, with a buttery potato and beetroot mash. It is very young yet and will reward time in bottle.
