Single vineyard, handcrafted Estate wines available in Cellar Door all weekend, including older vintage wines. Indian Tasting Plates available Saturday & Monday only with Indian Feast on Sunday, as below.
Nazaaray will also be participating in the regional Winter Wine Weekend event in Red Hill on Saturday 8 June.

Sunday 9 June 2024
Indian Buffet style Feast: – $80pp (food only) from 12-3pm. Menu includes Pakoras, Lamb Rogan Josh, Vegetable Sabzi, Daal, Sourdough Naan, Raita, and Gulab Jamun with poached winter fruit. The Cellar kitchen will be open following your arrival and allocated seating.

Monday 10 June 2024
Draw & paint at Nazaaray with support from the Peninsula Plein Air Painting Group, who will lead a still life creative experience in the winery. All levels welcome, from 10am. Art materials provided (or BYO if preferred).  Follow a creative morning with a glass of wine & our popular shared plates of Indian fusion dishes over lunch. $120pp. Bookings essential from 26 April 2024

March 2023:
Sadly Nirmal Ghumman lost her battle with MS due to a rare complication of one of her MS treatments in March 2023. She will be greatly missed by family and friends and many visitors to Cellar Door.

Nirmal was very committed to protecting the environment. A lover of plants and animals, one of Nirmal’s more recent projects was for koala conservation, planting trees in the lower paddocks of Nazaaray, to create a koala corridor. It was Nirmal’s wish for more eucalypts to be planted on the property for the koalas.

In memory of Nirmal’s dedication her family have liaised with Mornington Peninsula Koala Conservation group who have provided three varieties of eucalypts to the Ghummans to plant a grove of eucalypts in memory of Nirmal and where her ashes will also be buried.

A gold coin donation at the Cellar Door or donations via the QR code included in a  flyer here will support this memorial for Nirmal.
