After 50 years, old school friends Pawan and Paramdeep met in and shared stories of their passions in retirement.

Pawan had retired from the US embassy in Delhi and was pursuing his lifelong passion of wildlife photography. Param, a teetotaller for the first three decades of his life had planted a vineyard and was making wine.

Pawan shared that one of his most poignant experiences was documenting the struggle for survival of Bangles, a runt tiger cub. So began the 1001 Tiger Water Life story.
