2020 Estate Chardonnay
Hand-picked, whole-bunch pressed. Barrel Fermented in 30% new French oak with Secondary (malo-lactic fermentation) completed in 10 months. Pale lemon green in colour with lifted nose of sherbet lemon sweets and a touch of green pineapple, combining with peach and apricot stone fruit. On the palate the wine displays more savoury notes, with lemon rind, ripe lime juice, hints of green tea and freshly baked bread. The wine shows firm acidity and is quite tightly structured at present that would match to freshly shucked oysters, BBQ-ed prawns, or top notch fish and chips.
