This wine was made from our Estate grown grapes (70%) blended with grapes (30%)  from friends’ Flinders’ vineyard.  All grapes were hand-picked and whole-bunch pressed.  Barrel Fermented in French oak (65% new) with Secondary (malo-lactic fermentation) completed in 10 months.   Bright golden in colour with a rim of light green when bottled.  A hint of struck flint character adds a delicious complexity.  It has complex aromas of ripe lemon, peach, apricot and maybe melons.  On the palate the wine is ripe and rich, with yellow stone fruit tipping into some tropical notes. Its natural acidity holds all the elements in check and the wine has a long finish with creamy texture and spicy oak notes.  It is tightly structured at present that would match to Oysters, squid, prawns or the Amritsar style Barramundi served at the Nazaaray cellar door.
